Former Barcelona legend Ronaldinho will be welcomed back to the Camp Nou this week with a video tribute showcasing his finest moments in the Blaugrana shirt.

The Brazilian returns to Catalunya on Wednesday with current club Milan to take part in the Joan Gamper trophy, and Barca have arranged a broadcast on the scoreboard showing a montage of great memories during his five seasons in Spanish football.

Ronaldinho collected, most notably, a Champions League winners medal and a Ballon d’Or title during his spell with Barcelona, and is fondly remembered by the supporters, who are expected to turn out in force to pay tribute to their former charge.

The club have issued a message to the club's followers to ensure a suitably grand turnout for the 30-year-old’s return to the place where he made 207 appearances, scoring 95 goals from 2003 until his departure to the San Siro in 2008.

Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri decided to focus on his team's performance rather than on the actual result after his side's 5-4 defeat to Juventus on penalties in the Trofeo Luigi Berlusconi on Sunday evening.

Speaking to Mediaset after the match, the newly appointed Rossoneri coach said, "We had a good match, we have to work on our speed but we are on the right road. We are around 70% in terms of shape."

He added, "Ronaldinho's technical qualities are beyond discussion, he is 30 years of age and is still looking good."

When probed on the arrival of Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Allegri commented, "He's a great champion, everyone would be happy to train him.

"We'll see what the club does, but for now we must concentrate on the first day of the new Championship."
